William Holly, Ph.D.
Teaching Assistant Professor of History
William Holly is a Teaching Assistant Professor of History at WVU Tech. Dr. Holly received his Bachelor’s and Master’s in History from Central Washington University and his Ph.D. from Arizona State University. Dr. Holly’s research interests include the 20th Century American West, tourism, American Indian history, and popular music, especially country music and its development in the American West. At WVU Tech, Dr. Holly teaches courses on numerous topics within United States history. When not teaching, Dr. Holly enjoys exploring his new surroundings in West Virginia and learning more about the culture and history of the state.
