Amber Atha (Affholter)

Amber Affholter comes to WVU Tech from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, N.J., where she has been an assistant coach since November of 2011. At Stevens she worked primarily with the catchers and outfielders. Prior to joining the staff at Stevens Affholter was on the staff at Rutgers University – Newark. She has also coached local travel ball in both the Newark, N.J., and Trenton, Mich., areas including three years of head coaching experience.

Affholter began her playing career at NCAA Division I Rider University. After two years at Rider she transferred to Rutgers – Newark where she completed her playing career.

Affholter is a native of Trenton, Mich..
