As a result of inclement weather in the surrounding
area, West Virginia University Institute of Technology will be on a two-hour delay for
February 21, 2025.

Tech will be closed from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 21.
Employees designated as essential should report to campus for their normal
shifts. Employees designated as non-essential will begin work at 10:00 a.m.
Friday, February 21.
Employees who work remotely or on a hybrid schedule should not begin work until
10:00 a.m. Friday, February 21.
The
University is scheduled to resume normal operations at 10:00 a.m. Friday,
February 21; however, officials will continue to closely monitor reports from
the National Weather Service, as well as state, local and campus conditions.

and individuals with disabilities to progress through the academic pipeline from
middle school to postbaccalaureate programs.

WVU Tech students successfully advance through graduation.
We evaluate individual needs and provide free one‐on‐one support services to more
than 200 participants, helping to create successful and confident students and
leaders.
TRIO Upward Bound provides fundamental support to participants in their preparation
for college entrance. The program provides opportunities for participants to succeed
in their precollege performance and ultimately in their higher education pursuits.
TRIO UB serves: high school students from low-income families; and high school
students from families in which neither parent holds a bachelor's degree. The goal
of TRIO UB is to increase the rate at which participants complete secondary education
and enroll in and graduate from institutions of postsecondary education.
