DECORATING GRAD CAPS
Graduates are more than welcome to decorate their caps (mortarboards). This is a
great part of the commencement tradition. Keep in mind that these are representing
you as you graduate and could be seen in photos and the livestream. Have fun with
it!
HONOR CORDS AND STOLES
Honor cords and stoles are provided by the Registrar's Office at the event the
day of Commencement when you check in. These items are provided at no charge
to the graduates.
CAP AND GOWNS
Cap and gowns can be purchased through the bookstore.

GRADUATION PHOTOS
NOTE that there is a separate parking area for those who are going to be seated in the accessible seating. That parking area is noted on our parking map.

ACCESSSIBILITY NEEDS
Accessibility requests must be submitted in advance by email to tech-commencement@mail.wvu.edu. If you have not yet requested accessibility accommodations, please do so by April 30. Those with accessibility needs (along with ONE other guest) will be permitted to sit in the accessible seating area.

GUESTS
There are no limits on the number of guests that a graduate can invite and tickets
are not required for entrance for graduates or guests this year.

(2). Our guests who need ADA seating should enter the ADA entrance (3).
